Just back from a filming trip in northern Norway. Filmed the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) on the first night. An amazing display of dancing ripples of colour across the sky. All part of the ongoing ‘The Air Holds Still’ project.

Off to Berlin Film Festival (Berlinale) on Sunday.

Filming in Iceland in winter

Philip Clemo has been filming in Iceland again, this time focusing on frozen waterfalls and crawling about in an ice cave under one of the glaciers. This is all part of the extended film project, The Air Holds Still On My Breath. The original film made in Iceland under that name is currently keeping a low profile while development work continues on expanding the whole project into a feature film.

More filming trips coming up including a possible Northern Lights excursion in northern Norway.

The film formerly known as ‘Surfing Dreams & Chaos’ has now had a name change. It is now known as ‘Melt’. The name of the piece of music it is edited to is still called ‘Surfing Dreams & Chaos’, from the Soundzero album. You can view it here.

A short film made to the track Surfing Dreams & Chaos, the second piece from the Soundzero album, has been uploaded on Vimeoâ€ (best option) and YouTube. The film was produced, edited and directed by Philip Clemo and shot on full HD on location in Iceland, as part of the same production forâ€ the film ‘The Air Holds Still On My Breath’. Both films will be featured on this website soon.

‘The Air Holds Still On My Breath – The Iceland Journey’ now completed

Work has now been completed on the film The Air Holds Still On My Breath – The Iceland Journey. Running at just under 42 mins it moves through seven episodes in the journey of life – Orientation, Exhilaration, Isolation, Consolidation, Expansion, Transformation and an un-named final section. The film is an opportunity to ‘let go of the map’, drop a little deeper and see things with a new perspective. Watch out for more updates soon including information about downloads.

Soundzero released in the UK and US
