Great to hear from you too. I do now follow you on Twitter so that should work. Best way to contact me is on my email address clemo@philipclemo.com or phone 01342 825060. You deserved that mention in my biog. because frankly you were a musical lifeline for me back in the late Seventies and early Eighties when I didn't want to be in Insch anymore. You opened my ears to so many precious gems that still mean a lot to me. And you taught me how to play guitar and that served me well. Music is still at the core of what I do. I'm now working on album 6 - the second one to use my voice - I took me a few decades to get over that hangup!

It's great that you are back working on music - I felt it was a real shame when you retreated from that. I've had a lot of ups and downs on this artist's journey myself but now I realise I just have to keep journeying regardless of how the 'marketplace' might receive what I do.

Lets talk soon.

Hi Philip
What a surprise and a pleasure to come across my own self in your interview re. your influences etc. I feel very honoured, thank you. I visit London once a year to catch up with Sara, who, obviously is still there. I don't think I'm going to make it down until around March/April time as very busy, but saw Sara last weekend, and she''ll be around the North East come Chrimbo time!!! So, London may have to wait until the Spring. We will have to meet up next time I'm in your vicinity, so, until then, all the best to yourself, Annabell and your family. Hope all is well
All good things

A very satisfying day with Phil Clemo on his new album, full of musical nourishment that will last me for ages to come. It's a unique experience and he brings out the best in players. Phil will give the occasional musical pointer or sign post, but other than that, one is given a more or less free rein, the key to making a player feel comfortable enough to dig deeper than normal.
As for engineer Phill Brown.........The Finest !
Can't wait to hear finished music.
